Simsbury Ride: September 20, 2008

Eastern CT RC&D Tour des FarmsEvent Details:

This is a leisure ride designed to highlight several of Connecticut's beautiful orchards and farms. There will be a single route for this year's ride approximately 24-mile loop that will visit many farmstands and contains a variety of rolling hills. Registration is limited to those 12 years and older please. Registration begins at 8 a.m., Ride begins at 9 a.m.

Supporting Agriculture
Proceeds from the ride will go to support the Eastern CT Resource Conservation and Development program and the Working Lands Alliance. The Working Lands Alliance is a coalition of farmers, land trusts, conservationists, and citizens working together to increase the state’s commitment towards farmland protection.
